Baltimore officials are reviewing their contract with D.C. rapper Wale after he used profanity and racial slurs during a performance at a free, city-sponsored arts festival, WBAL.com reports.

Wale was the headliner Sunday on the main stage at Artscape.

Tracy Baskerville with Baltimore’s Office of Promotion and the Arts says officials were deeply disturbed by the language he used. She says the office apologizes to anyone who found his performance offensive.
